題 目：An approach to Service Dynamic Reconfiguration Using Probabilistic Model Checking

Online community is becoming increasingly important for people because of the rapid growth of the Internet, especially of the social Web. Online community has given birth to many business applications such as Facebook and LinkedIn. It also has attracted great attentions of many researchers. In this talk, we first review the history of the social Web and the development of social Web applications and the user population. And then, we try to define online community, classify the corresponding applications and further summarize the key technologies of online community. Secondly, we will illustrate how to use Object Deputy Model to manage online community after analyzing the unique features of online community and the current models for the management. Thirdly, we will discuss online community services from three perspectives: community finding, resource sharing and mass collaboration. Finally we will give a brief introduction about our ongoing project: Totem Community Management System, which is based on our object deputy database system.
Zhiyong Peng received B.Sc from Wuhan University, M.Eng. from Changsha Institute of Technology of China in 1985 and 1988, respectively, and Ph.D degree from Kyoto University, Japan in 1995. He is presently a professor and vice dean of Computer School, Wuhan University, China, and visiting Hokkaido University, Japan now. He worked as a researcher in Advanced Software Technology & Mechatronics Research Institute of Kyoto from 1995 to 1997 and a member of technical staff in Hewlett-Packard Laboratories Japan from 1997 to 2000. His research interests include complex data management, web data management, trusted data management. He is a member of IEEE Computer Society and ACM SIGMOD, a member of Database Society of Chinese Computer Federation, vice director of VLDB School China. He is general co-chair of MINES2009, WAIM2011, DASFAA2013 and PC Co-chair of DASFAA2012, WISE2006 and CIT2004.
